Brewers Appoint New General Counsel
Experienced Legal Professional Joins the Team
The Milwaukee Brewers have announced the appointment of Emily Goodman as their new General Counsel. Goodman brings a wealth of experience in sports law and business operations to the organization. She will be responsible for overseeing all legal matters related to the team, including contracts, compliance, and litigation.
A Proven Track Record of Success
Prior to joining the Brewers, Goodman served as Senior Counsel for the Milwaukee Bucks. In this role, she managed a wide range of legal issues, including player contracts, league compliance, and intellectual property protection. She also played a key role in the development of the Bucks' new arena, Fiserv Forum.
Before her time with the Bucks, Goodman worked as an associate attorney at Quarles & Brady LLP, where she specialized in corporate law and mergers and acquisitions. She also gained valuable experience as a law clerk for the Honorable Rebecca Dallet, Chief Justice of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
Goodman's strong legal background and deep understanding of the sports industry make her an ideal fit for the Brewers. She is a skilled negotiator and an effective advocate for her clients. Her addition to the organization will further strengthen the Brewers' legal team and contribute to the team's success both on and off the field.
