Chicago Sky Defeat Indiana Fever in Thrilling WNBA Game
Chicago Extends Win Streak to Five, Indiana Falls to 2-5

The Chicago Sky extended their winning streak to five games with a hard-fought victory over the Indiana Fever on June 1, 2024. The Sky prevailed 86-83 at Credit Union 1 Arena in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Kahleah Copper led the way for Chicago, scoring a game-high 25 points and grabbing 8 rebounds. Courtney Vandersloot added 16 points and 7 assists, while Candace Parker chipped in with 14 points and 9 rebounds.
Aaliyah Boston paced the Fever with 22 points, 10 rebounds, and 4 steals. Victoria Vivians added 16 points and 5 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to overcome the Sky's balanced scoring attack.
The first half was closely contested, with neither team able to gain a significant advantage. The Sky held a slim 41-39 lead at the break.
Chicago seized control of the game in the third quarter, outscoring the Fever 27-17. Copper and Vandersloot combined for 19 points in the quarter, helping the Sky build a 10-point lead heading into the fourth.
Indiana fought back in the fourth quarter, but it was too little too late. Boston scored 7 points in the final period, but the Sky held on to secure the victory.
With the win, the Sky improved to 5-2 on the season. They will face the Dallas Wings at home on Friday, June 2. The Fever fell to 2-5 and will host the New York Liberty on Friday, June 2.
