The 2011 Dallas Mavericks roster for the NBA regular season and playoffs. 2010-2011 Dallas Mavericks Regular Season Roster.
The 2011-12 Dallas Mavericks season was a disappointing one, as the team finished with a 36-30 record and missed the playoffs. The Mavericks were led by Dirk Nowitzki, who averaged 22.5 points per game, but the team lacked a consistent second scorer and struggled to defend consistently. The Mavericks also dealt with injuries to key players, including Nowitzki, who missed 16 games with a knee injury.
Despite their struggles, the Mavericks did have some bright spots during the season. Shawn Marion emerged as a consistent scorer and defender, and Jason Kidd provided leadership and experience. The Mavericks also had a strong bench, led by Vince Carter and Delonte West.
The Mavericks' season ended with a disappointing loss to the Los Angeles Lakers in the first round of the playoffs. However, the team has a solid core of players and should be able to contend for a playoff spot in the 2012-13 season.
